Artisans in the making

Imagemakers launched the Stitch by Stitch' Learner School in 2023. It is a training programme that nurtures young talent into skilled artisans. We aim to upskill people passionate about clothing manufacturing through credible qualifications and cross-skilling, creating a sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals. This is increasingly important in South Africa where the trade is dwindling due to mass clothing importing.
